About this job
Our company LLC, based in Sioux City, IA, is looking for a CDL-A driver to run OTR routes in our refrigerated fleet. We're a mid-sized carrier with up to 30 automatic trucks (Volvo, Freightliner, International), and dispatch is available around the clock so you stay connected with us. You decide how much you drive each week, which means your weekly earnings are largely in your hands.
Pay
- $0.55 to $0.65 per mile driven
- Typical weekly pay ranges from $1,000.00 to $3,000.00
Routes
- Loads run mostly east and south, with frequent stops in IN, OH, KS, MO, TX, OK, and NC, plus other nearby states
What you'll haul
- Refrigerated trailers exclusively
What you'll do
- Drive OTR routes while following FMCSA and DOT rules
- Use GPS to plan efficient routes and adjust in real time
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Keep accurate logs covering hours, deliveries, and inspections
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Comfortable using GPS for navigation and route changes
- Manual transmission experience is a strong plus
