CDL-A OTR Truck Driver — $0.55–$0.60/Mile, All Miles Paid

Our company, a small family-owned trucking company, needs dependable CDL-A drivers for regular California-to-Texas runs with return loads.

Pay

• $0.55 to $0.60 per mile, depending on experience

• You get paid for every mile, whether loaded or empty

• Chances to earn extra on top of base pay

What you'll haul

• Steady routes between California and Texas with backhauls

• Mix of reefer and dry van freight

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 2.5 years of verifiable driving experience; 3+ years preferred

• Reefer experience is a plus

• Clean enough driving record to meet company standards

• Valid DOT medical card

• Must satisfy DOT/FMCSA rules

• Reliable, safety-minded, and responsible on the road

What the job involves

• Running a tractor-trailer safely

• Keeping ELD logs current and staying within DOT rules

• Doing pre/post-trip inspections and checking reefer temps

• Staying in touch with dispatch

• Getting loads delivered on time and intact

• Looking after your assigned truck and trailer
