CDL-A OTR Truck Driver — $0.50–$0.55 per Mile

Our company is looking for a CDL-A driver to handle over-the-road freight across a mix of equipment types. You'll run varied routes, hauling different trailer types and keeping everything compliant and on schedule.

Pay

• $0.50 - $0.55 per mile

What you'll haul

• Tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers and refrigerated trailers

• Freight that may include automobiles or hazardous materials, handled per applicable regulations

The work

• Plan routes with GPS tools to keep deliveries on time over OTR lanes

• Load and unload cargo by hand, securing hazardous or sensitive freight correctly

• Run pre-trip and routine inspections to confirm the truck is safe before heading out

• Follow DOT and FMCSA rules throughout each trip

• Represent the company well during pickups and deliveries

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A with a clean driving record and solid truck driving experience

• Experience with flatbeds, tankers, refrigerated trailers or other specialized freight

• Working knowledge of DOT, FMCSA and hazmat/dangerous goods rules

• Comfortable using GPS systems to plan and adjust routes on the fly

• Able to drive manual transmission trucks and handle freight manually and safely

• Delivery driving background a plus, especially with freight or cargo logistics

• Solid grasp of loading and unloading procedures and safety steps for hazardous or delicate loads
