CDL-A OTR Tanker Driver — $28–$30/hr + Quarterly Bonus

Our company in Bartow, FL is hiring an OTR Tanker Truck Driver to haul liquid bulk materials on dedicated regional and national routes. This role involves multi-day trips away from home and handling hazardous materials in bulk tankers.

Pay

• $28-30/hr, based on experience

• $500 bonus paid quarterly

What you'll haul

• Liquid bulk materials, including hazardous cargo, transported in tanker trailers

• Routes cover both dedicated regional and national lanes

• Expect to be on the road for several days at a stretch

What the job involves

• Operating the truck safely under all relevant local, state and federal rules, plus company safety policy

• Running pre-trip and post-trip inspections and logging hours of service through an ELD, per USDOT rules

• Wearing required protective gear (masks, gloves, chemical suits, boot covers, and eye, ear or face protection as needed)

• Loading and unloading tankers following standard procedures

• Hooking and unhooking trailers, including air/electrical line connections, fifth-wheel locks and landing gear

• Reviewing bills of lading and delivery paperwork, and confirming routes and instructions

• Handling basic upkeep like checking fluids and making minor repairs, plus roadside fixes such as tire changes or bulb replacements

• Taking on other tasks as directed by management

Requirements

• Class A CDL, unrestricted

• Tanker and Hazmat endorsements

• Minimum 24 months of verifiable commercial driving experience in the last 36 months, operating comparable equipment (including 5-axle articulated trailers) in interstate or intrastate commerce

• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 36 months

• No more than 1 serious violation in the past 36 months

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• Must pass and keep a valid USDOT physical

• Comfortable with extended standing, sitting, and driving, along with occasional climbing, bending, kneeling and lifting up to 50 lbs
