CDL-A OTR Reefer Driver — $70,000–$75,000/yr Salary

This is a salaried OTR reefer driving job based out of Eastern Iowa, hauling dairy products mostly across the Midwest and Southern states. You'll know exactly what you earn each year, with consistent refrigerated freight and modern equipment.

Pay

• Fixed annual salary between $70,000.00 and $75,000.00, so your earnings are predictable

Home time

• Expect to be out on the road for 12 days or more at a stretch

• You earn one day at home for every 7 days you work

• Take your time off every other weekend, or save it up for a longer break

What you'll haul

• Refrigerated loads of dairy products, running mainly through the Midwest and Southern states

• No trips into California, New York, or New England

• Drive late-model automatic Peterbilt 579 tractors paired with Thermo King reefer units

Requirements

• At least 25 years old

• Valid Class A CDL

• A minimum of one year of OTR driving experience

• Tanker endorsement, or willingness to earn one within your first 90 days

• A clean driving record

• High school diploma or GED
