CDL-A OTR Reefer Driver — 1099, 55 CPM, $1,500-$2,000/wk

Our company is a family-owned carrier, now in its third generation, looking for steady CDL-A drivers for over-the-road reefer runs. Most freight moves between California and Texas, so you'll run familiar lanes with consistent miles.

What you'll do

• Drive a tractor-trailer safely on OTR assignments

• Handle refrigerated freight and keep an eye on reefer temperatures to protect the load

• Get pickups and deliveries done on time

• Run pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Keep your logs, mileage, fuel and delivery paperwork accurate

• Stay in touch with dispatch about loads, delays and route changes

• Keep your truck clean and flag any mechanical issues right away

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• Experience driving OTR tractor-trailer routes

• Reefer experience is a plus

• Clean driving record

• Dependable and responsible on the road

• Clear communication with dispatch

• Capable of handling long-haul routes and delivery timelines

• Willing to run the California-Texas corridor regularly
