About this job
This company hires solo CDL-A drivers to pick up and move its own tractors and trailers across the lower 48 states. You'll work independently, traveling to wherever equipment needs to be relocated, with full benefits and no truck payment since the equipment is company-owned.
Pay
- Average $1,430 per week, top drivers $1,700 per week (roughly $74,360 to $88,400 a year)
- Pay includes per-mile pay plus stop pay, detention pay, layover pay, breakdown pay, and pay for wait time and non-driving travel
- Paid weekly
Home time
- Home every 2 weeks
What you'll do
- Recover and relocate company tractors and trailers throughout the lower 48 states
- Photograph equipment using a company smartphone app
- Stay flexible as locations and schedules change
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- At least 3 months of tractor-trailer experience
- Clean Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse record (no SAP drivers)
- Smartphone
- Willing to travel frequently and work independently
