CDL-A OTR Dry Van Driver — Recent Grads Welcome — Home Every 2 Weeks

Our company is hiring new CDL-A graduates in Lynn Haven, Callaway and Bay County, FL for an OTR dry van seat. Training is paid and solo pay builds quickly, with home time every two weeks.

Pay

• Training pays $650 a week for 3 to 5 weeks (200-250 hours)

• Your first 3 months as a solo driver, you're guaranteed at least $1,000 a week

• After that, solo pay averages $1,200 to $1,800 a week

• You'll run 1,800 to 2,900 miles a week

• $15 for each extra stop

• Short hauls pay $75 plus mileage

• Monthly bonus based on performance

• $300 orientation pay once you're hired

• Paychecks come every week

Home time

You'll drive for about two weeks, then head home. Weekend runs are part of the job, but holiday driving is up to you.

What you'll haul

This is dry van freight running east of Denver, with no Northeast lanes. Expect a mix of drop-and-hook, preloaded and live-load freight.

Getting started

Orientation runs up to two days, with your lodging covered and bus fare reimbursed. From there you'll train with a mentor for 3 to 5 weeks (roughly 200-250 hours), learning backing, trip planning, log management and fueling on actual loads. Once you're solo, you'll get your own truck, averaging about 1.5 years old, either automatic or 10-speed.

Requirements

• Must be 21 or older with a Class A CDL

• New grads are fine, or drivers with 6 months of recent experience

• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years

• No DUI or DWI in the past 10 years

• Must pass a DOT physical along with hair and urine drug screening
