CDL-A OTR Driver — Shreveport, LA — $1,400-$1,600/wk, 2 Days Home

Our company is looking for CDL-A drivers near Shreveport, LA to run OTR routes hauling 100% no-touch dry van freight. You get your own assigned truck, a mentor to guide your start, and weekly pay from the beginning. Both brand-new CDL-A holders and experienced drivers can apply.

What you'll haul

• Dry van freight only, 100% no-touch

• Your own 2024 or newer Kenworth T680 or Freightliner Cascadia with automatic transmission

• No slip seating; the truck is yours alone

• Bring the truck home on your scheduled days off

Schedule

• 14 days on the road

• 2 full days at home

Getting started

• New CDL-A holders go through a 3 to 5 week mentorship (around 200 to 250 hands-on hours) with guaranteed weekly pay

• $300 paid for orientation, and transportation to orientation is covered

• Experienced drivers can move directly into solo runs once they meet the requirements

Pay

• Once solo, average weekly gross runs $1,400 to $1,600

• Top 25% of drivers average up to $1,800 per week gross

• Pay is based on CPM, miles run, and performance

• Paid weekly by direct deposit

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid Class A CDL

• Current DOT medical card

• Clean driving and work history

• Able to pass a DOT drug screen and background check

• Meet all other DOT and company rules

• New drivers: 120+ hours of training from an accredited CDL school and completion of the company's training program

• Experienced drivers: minimum 6 months of verifiable solo driving (time spent training or mentoring doesn't count)
