CDL-A OTR Driver, New Grads Welcome — $1,000/Week Guarantee Solo

Our company is hiring new CDL-A grads for an OTR dry van seat based around Sulphur, Westlake and Calcasieu Parish. You'll run with a mentor through training, then move solo with a pay guarantee and home time every two weeks.

Pay

• Training pays $650 a week for 3 to 5 weeks (200-250 hours) while you ride with a mentor.

• Once solo, your first 3 months come with a $1,000 weekly guarantee.

• Solo drivers typically bring home $1,200 to $1,800 a week after that.

• Extra stops add $15 each, short hauls pay $75 plus mileage, and there's a monthly bonus for performance.

• You get $300 after you're hired, plus a covered hotel and reimbursed bus ticket during orientation.

Home time

You're off and home every two weeks. Weekends are worked, but holidays are your choice.

What you'll haul

This is dry van freight running from Denver eastward, skipping the Northeast. Expect 1,800 to 2,900 miles a week mixing drop and hook with preloaded and live-load freight. Trucks are company-assigned, averaging about 1.5 years old, in automatic or 10-speed.

Orientation takes two days or less before you're on the road.

Requirements

• Age 21 or older with a Class A CDL

• New CDL grad, or at least 6 months of recent driving experience

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years

• No DUI or DWI within the last 10 years

• Must pass a DOT physical along with hair and urine drug testing
