CDL-A OTR Driver — Assigned Truck, No-Touch Freight

Our company is looking for CDL-A drivers near Carencro, LA for OTR runs hauling 100% no-touch dry van freight. You'll get your own assigned truck once you're solo, whether you're new to trucking or already experienced.

Pay

• Once solo, average weekly gross runs $1,400 to $1,600

• Top 25% of drivers average up to $1,800 per week gross

• Your pay depends on CPM, miles run, and performance

• Paid weekly by direct deposit

Home time

• You're out for 14 days at a stretch

• Then you get 2 full days at home

Training and onboarding

• If you're a new CDL-A holder, you'll earn guaranteed weekly pay through a 3 to 5 week mentorship (roughly 200 to 250 hands-on hours)

• Orientation pays $300, and the company covers your travel to get there

• Experienced drivers who meet the requirements go straight into solo driving

What you'll haul

• Dry van freight that's 100% no-touch

• You're assigned your own truck, a 2024 or newer Kenworth T680 or Freightliner Cascadia with automatic transmission

• No slip seating, it's yours alone, and you can take it home on your days off

Requirements

• New CDL-A holders need 120+ hours from an accredited truck driving school and must finish the company's training program

• Experienced drivers need at least 6 months of verifiable solo driving (mentor or trainer time doesn't count)

• You must be 21 or older with a valid Class A CDL and current DOT medical card

• A clean driving and work history is required

• You'll need to pass a DOT drug screen and background check

• You must meet all other DOT and company requirements
