About this job
This direct-hire OTR role is based in Vernon, CA, hauling freight on assigned routes with a flexible shift schedule. You'll run tractor-trailer equipment, with reefer, flatbed or specialized trailers a plus.
Pay
- $28.00 to $30.00 per hour, plus $0.56 per mile and per-stop pay
- Expected 40 hours per week

What you'll haul
- Freight in the food industry, delivered safely and on time across OTR routes
- Tractor-trailer required; reefer, flatbed or specialized trailer experience preferred
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL and current DOT medical card
- At least 1 year of Class A driving experience preferred; OTR experience required
- Comfortable with pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and securing or checking cargo
- Able to keep accurate logs and delivery paperwork, and stay in touch with dispatch and customers about delivery status
- Working knowledge of ELDs and DOT rules
- Clean driving record and compliance with DOT, state and company safety standards
- Must pass background and drug/alcohol screening
- TWIC card helpful but not required
