CDL-A OTR Driver — $1,525+/Week Avg, Automatic Trucks

Our company is looking for solo CDL-A drivers to run OTR dry van freight out of Lake City and Columbia County. You'll get a newer automatic truck assigned just to you, strong weekly pay and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Your truck

• 2023 model year or newer, automatic transmission only (a license restricted to automatic is fine)

• Assigned to you alone, and yours to take home on days off

• Double bunks and a 1,250-watt inverter

• Forward-facing camera only, nothing pointed at you

• Comes with a toll pass, weigh-station bypass and fuel card

What you'll haul

Dry van loads across all 48 states, mostly east of I-35. About 99% is no-touch and roughly 85% is drop and hook. You won't be sent into NYC.

Pay

• Average of $1,525+ weekly on roughly 2,000 miles

• $5,000 sign-on bonus

• Per-mile rate increases with your experience, plus a loyalty bump of 3 to 6 cents per mile once you hit 12 months

• Safety and productivity bonus up to 3 cents per mile, available starting your first full month

• Per diem option

• Detention pay of $12.50/hour after the first 2 hours, $100/day if you're held up by a layover or breakdown, and short-haul minimum pay of $100 to $200

• Paid every week via direct deposit, check, or pay card

Home time

Expect 10 to 14 days on the road followed by 2 days home.

Requirements

• Must be 21 or older with a Class A CDL

• At least 3 months of tractor-trailer experience within the last 36 months (CDL school doesn't count toward this)

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years

• No DUI or DWI within the last 10 years

• Must pass a DOT physical and a hair and urine drug test

Orientation runs 3 paid days at $100 per day, and includes a private hotel room and a bus ticket to get there.
