CDL-A OTR Driver — $1,400–$1,600/wk Avg, Paid Training for New CDL Holders

Our company is hiring CDL-A drivers near West Monroe, LA for OTR runs. You get your own assigned truck (no slip seating) and haul 100% no-touch dry van freight. Both brand-new CDL-A holders and experienced drivers can apply.

Pay

• Once you're running solo, expect $1,400 to $1,600 gross per week on average

• The top 25% of drivers bring home up to $1,800 gross weekly

• Your pay is based on CPM, miles run, and how you perform

• You're paid every week by direct deposit

Equipment and freight

• You'll drive a 2024 or newer Kenworth T680 or Freightliner Cascadia, both automatics

• The truck is yours alone, not shared with other drivers

• Take it home on your days off

• All freight is dry van and 100% no-touch

Schedule

• Runs are 14 days out, followed by 2 full days at home

Training and experience

• If you're new to CDL-A, you'll go through a 3 to 5 week mentorship (roughly 200 to 250 hands-on hours) with guaranteed weekly pay during that time

• You'll also get $300 for orientation, with transportation to get there covered

• Already experienced? You can go straight into solo driving once you meet the requirements

• New drivers need 120+ hours of training from an accredited CDL school and must finish the company's training program

• Experienced drivers need at least 6 months of verifiable solo driving experience; time spent training under a mentor doesn't count toward this

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid Class A CDL

• Current DOT medical card

• A clean driving record and solid work history

• Able to pass a DOT drug screen and background check

• Must meet all other DOT and company standards
