CDL-A OTR Asphalt Tanker Driver — $1,800 Weekly Guarantee

Our company is looking for CDL-A drivers to run over-the-road asphalt tanker loads out of its specialized asphalt fleet. Pay comes with a weekly minimum guarantee, and you would typically be out about 2 weeks at a time.

Pay

• Guaranteed minimum of $1,800 per week, with weekly earnings in the $1,800-$2,200 range (the wage range lists $1,800-$2,100).

• Quoted as $93,600 per year at the guaranteed minimum.

• Actual weekly pay depends on miles, loads, schedule, freight availability and operational needs.

• The guarantee is figured as gross weekly earnings before taxes and deductions. It covers drivers who are available for dispatch, accept assigned loads and stay compliant with DOT/FMCSA and company safety rules. It does not apply during voluntary time off, refused work, preventable service delays, suspension, disqualification or policy violations. Conditions apply.

Schedule and home time

• Over-the-road position, usually 2 weeks out at a time.

• You get scheduled home time after each run cycle.

What you'll haul

• Specialized asphalt products in tanker equipment.

• The work calls for attention to detail and a firm commitment to safety, following company, customer, DOT, FMCSA and hazmat rules.

Requirements

• CDL-A with at least 1 year of experience.

• Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.

• Age 23 or older.

• TWIC card preferred; some lanes require it.

• Able to safely run and monitor tanker equipment and complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
