What you'll do
- Drive a commercial vehicle to deliver Amazon freight overnight
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any mechanical problems
- Stick to assigned routes and schedules so deliveries stay on time
- Keep dispatch and warehouse staff updated on route changes or delays
- Follow traffic laws, company safety rules and Amazon's delivery standards
Schedule
This role runs on overnight/night shifts, and you need to be available during those hours.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL (required, no exceptions)
- Clean driving record with a satisfactory MVR
- At least 1 year of verifiable CDL driving experience preferred
- Good time management and ability to work without close supervision
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
