CDL-A Night Delivery Driver — Home Daily, $82,000–$97,000/yr

Our company is hiring a CDL-A driver to run night deliveries from its Winter Haven, FL distribution center to local Chick-fil-A restaurants. You'll get home every day, work with new equipment, and earn a guaranteed yearly minimum plus a strong benefits package.

Schedule

• Shifts run Sunday through Friday, starting between 6pm and 12am (midnight), ending when the work is done

• Saturdays off

• Expect roughly 40 to 45+ hours weekly depending on routes and restaurant needs

• Some flexibility required on weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts as business needs dictate

Pay

• Guaranteed minimum pay for 40 hours, ranging from $82,000 to $97,000 per year depending on your driving experience

• Overtime paid for anything worked past 40 hours a week

What you'll haul

• Deliver product to 4-6 Chick-fil-A restaurants each shift using a new automatic Kenworth T680 (leather, air-ride seats, GPS, backup and side cameras) paired with a 48-inch Great Dane trailer with electric side lift gates

• Use battery-powered pallet jacks to move product into restaurants

• Samsara devices and a mobile app guide you to parking and unloading spots at each stop, plus in-cab ELD charging

• Handle pickups and returns (pallets, carts, etc.) and submit the related paperwork

• Help unload the truck and store equipment back at the distribution center at the end of your run

• On-site mechanics handle equipment maintenance

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

• At least 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience

• Class A CDL issued by your state of residence

• Minimum age 21

• Must complete a DOT Clearinghouse application, pass MVR screening, a drug test, and a background check

• No preventable DOT-recordable accidents in the past 3 years

• No more than 2 violations of the same type or 3 total moving violations in the past 3 years; no DUI/DWI convictions in the past 10 years

• Must live within 60 miles of the Winter Haven distribution center

• Comfortable working in temperatures from -10F to 100F, mostly at night and in all weather

• Able to lift, reach, bend and stoop to handle cases up to 65 pounds through most of the shift, and occasionally use equipment to move loads up to 2,000 pounds

• Occasional travel (about 5%) for operator/market visits, supplier visits, or conferences

• Strong English skills for reading instructions, completing paperwork, and following labels, pick lists, scanner prompts, and company communication

• Prior food service or key-drop delivery experience is a plus
