CDL-A Night Delivery Driver — Home Daily, $82,000–$97,000/yr

Our company in Winter Haven, FL needs a CDL-A driver to run overnight deliveries to Chick-fil-A restaurants. You'll be home every day, driving newer equipment, with a guaranteed minimum pay structure and a strong benefits package.

Schedule

• You'll work Sunday through Friday, starting between 6pm and 12am, finishing once the route is done. Saturdays are off.

• Expect roughly 40 to 45+ hours weekly, depending on routes and restaurant needs.

• Shifts happen mostly overnight and in all weather, so be ready for temperature swings from -10F to 100F while loading and unloading.

• Occasional weekend, holiday, or rotating-shift flexibility may be needed, and about 5% travel is expected for operator visits, supplier visits, or conferences.

Pay

• Guaranteed minimum pay for a 40-hour week, ranging from $82,000 to $97,000 per year depending on your driving experience.

• Anything worked past 40 hours in a week is paid at overtime rates.

What you'll haul

• You'll deliver food and supplies to 4-6 Chick-fil-A restaurants per shift, unloading and staging product, handling pickups and returns like pallets and carts, and completing the related paperwork.

• Trucks are brand-new automatic Kenworth T680 tractors with leather air-ride seats, GPS, and backup/side cameras, paired with 48-inch Great Dane trailers that have electric side lift gates and tandem lights.

• You'll use battery-powered pallet jacks to move product and Samsara mobile devices for routing, unloading guidance, and ELD charging.

• An in-house maintenance team keeps the trucks running.

• Physical demands include lifting up to 65 pounds per case through most of the shift and occasionally moving loads up to 2,000 pounds with equipment assistance.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL from your state of residence, at least 21 years old, with a high school diploma or GED.

• At least 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience.

• Must live within 60 miles of the Winter Haven, FL distribution center.

• Clean driving history: no preventable DOT-recordable accidents in the past 3 years, no more than 2 of the same moving violation or 3 total in that span, and no DUI/DWI in the past 10 years.

• Must pass a DOT Clearinghouse application, MVR and medical card checks, a drug screen, and a background check.

• Strong English skills are needed to follow instructions, complete paperwork, and read labels, pick lists, scanner prompts, and company communications.

• Prior food service or key-drop delivery experience is a plus, along with being a safe, customer-focused team player.
