CDL-A New Driver Training — $1,000/Week Guaranteed After Training

Our company is looking for new CDL-A holders in Bakersfield, CA to train into a western regional fleet. Runs stay short, usually no more than 2 days from home, and you'll learn the ropes riding with a driver trainer before moving into your own truck.

How training works

• You'll ride along with an experienced driver trainer hauling real loads

• Training pays $650 per week

• Once your trainer clears you, you move into your own truck at full pay

• Your first 3 months of solo driving are guaranteed at $1,000 per week

What you'll haul

• Dry van freight across the 11 western states

• 1,700 to 2,100 miles weekly

• Home every 2 weeks

• You can opt to run beyond the western region if you want extra miles

Pay

• Weekly earnings average $1,000 to $1,300

• Mileage pay follows a standard scale that increases with experience

• Performance bonus of up to 6 cents per mile

• $15 paid per stop

Two paths in

• New CDL-A holders with no experience: complete 120+ hours at an accredited CDL school, then train with a driver trainer on weekly pay while learning

• Experienced drivers: with 6 months OTR in the past year, or 12 months within the last 5 years, you can bypass training and start directly in your own truck

Requirements

• Class A CDL, age 21 or older

• No more than 2 moving violations in the past 2 years

• Must pass a DOT physical and drug screen
