CDL-A Local Truck Driver with Hazmat — Home Nightly, $23–$25/hr

Make local deliveries for our company (POOLCORP) out of Medley, Florida, and be home every night. This route runs Monday through Friday on a set daytime schedule, with guaranteed hours even when deliveries slow down.

Pay

• $23 to $25 per hour

• Up to $3,000 per year in bonus pay

• Guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week, even without deliveries

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 7am to 4:30pm

• Local routes only, no overnight trips

What you'll haul

• Deliveries to customers along efficient daily routes

• You'll load and unload the truck, keeping products secure and separating hazardous materials properly

What the job involves

• Plan routes for on-time, accurate deliveries

• Collect payments and keep accurate delivery records

• Follow DOT and FMCSR rules at all times

• Do pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any maintenance issues

• Keep your truck clean and in good shape

• Build your product knowledge over time

Requirements

• Must be 21 or older

• Valid CDL; Hazmat endorsement preferred

• Clean driving history: no more than 2 combined violations or at-fault accidents in the last 3 years (per MVR and PSP check)

• Able to lift and move items up to 100 pounds

• Strong customer service and communication skills, written and spoken

• Able to work with minimal supervision

• Comfortable with computers and material handling equipment (preferred)

• Experience with Moffett, Skelly, or air brakes is a plus

• About 1 year of tractor-trailer experience preferred
