About this job
Drive a dedicated local fleet delivering to Walmart stores near Casa Grande, AZ, with a guaranteed trip home every single day. This route keeps you within a 225-mile radius of the distribution center, running mostly no-touch, live-unload freight.
What you'll haul
- Multi-stop deliveries to Walmart locations, starting from the yard at 58 South Thornton Ave, Casa Grande, AZ
- Typically 8 to 15 loads weekly, each with about 3 to 4 stops
- Freight is mostly live unload with no touching required from you
Home time
- Back home every day after your shift
- Shift start times rotate, so flexibility is needed
Equipment
- Automatic-transmission day cabs
- Slip-seat setup (no assigned truck)
- Access to one of the newer fleets in the industry
Pay
- Paid through a mileage band system, plus extra for stops and detention time
- Weekly earnings estimates range from $1,256 to $1,534, based on drivers with a year or more of experience
- $1,000 holiday sign-on bonus available
Requirements
- Current Class A CDL
- At least 21 years old
- Minimum 3 months of recent Class A driving experience
- Open to working varying shift times
- Your own ride to and from the terminal (trucks stay at the yard)
