CDL-A Local Truck Driver — Home Daily, No Experience Needed

This is a full-time local CDL-A driving job based out of Port Charlotte, FL, running dedicated night-shift routes with no-touch reefer freight. You'll be home every day, and no prior driving experience is required since training is provided.

Pay

• Weekly earnings of $1,300 to $1,400

• Annual range of $67,600 to $72,800

• A sign-on bonus is offered

• Per-mile rate depends on your experience level

Home time

You return home daily on this local route, not just occasionally like many regional jobs.

What you'll haul

• Dedicated lanes with the same customers and schedule week after week

• No-touch freight, so you're only responsible for driving

• Reefer trailers, 48 to 53 feet, pulled by late-model automatic trucks

• Roughly 2,200 miles per week on the night shift

Requirements

• Valid CDL-A

• Open to entry-level drivers; full training provided

• At least 21 years old

• Clean driving history, with no SAP program involvement or DUI record

• Must pass a DOT physical and pre-employment drug test

• Live within 50 miles of Port Charlotte, FL

On the job, you'll handle pre-trip and post-trip inspections, keep your ELD logs accurate, follow DOT and company safety rules, and stay in touch with dispatch on your progress.
