CDL-A Local Truck Driver — Home Daily, $30.10/hr

Our company is looking for a Class A CDL driver to run a local, home-daily route in Florida, hauling touch freight for a retail customer. Pay is weekly and training is paid.

Pay

• $30.10 per hour

• Expect $1204 or more per week

• At least 40 hours per week

• Paid training included

Schedule

• Works Monday through Saturday

• Start times fall somewhere between 7 PM and 6 AM

• Home every day after your route

What you'll haul

• Solo runs within Florida

• Day cab pulling a 53' dry van trailer

• Touch freight: retail goods, using a pallet jack to load and unload

• Trucks are no older than 36 months, with 24/7 roadside support and fueling at more than 800 maintenance sites nationwide

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid Class A CDL with the right endorsements for this route

• Tractor-trailer experience: 9 months in the last 3 years, OR 2 years in the last 5 years, OR 5 years in the last 10 years

• Must pass our company's drug screening, background check, motor vehicle record review, DOT physical and road test, plus verification of drug and alcohol history from employers over the past 3 years

• Able to follow instructions and apply relevant laws, rules and procedures

• Some assignments may involve extra screening, such as employment or education checks, driving record review, a road test, or customer-specific background and badge requirements

On the job

• Follow applicable federal and state transportation laws and company safety rules

• Spot and address safety risks

• Keep accurate logs and records

• Help load or unload freight when the customer requires it

• Handle other assigned tasks
