CDL-A Local Truck Driver — Home Daily, $27.50/hr + OT

Drive a dedicated local retail route out of Ankeny, IA with a predictable Monday-Friday schedule and home every night. You'll handle no-touch freight in late-model dry van trailers, with occasional straight truck runs.

Pay

• $27.50 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours

• Typical workweek runs 50-52 hours

• Average weekly earnings around $1,550

• Average annual earnings around $80,000

Schedule

• Monday through Friday

• 7:00 AM start time

• Home daily

What you'll haul

• Dedicated retail account freight

• No-touch loads

• Dry van trailers, mostly, with some straight truck deliveries

• Late-model trucks

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 9 months of tractor-trailer driving experience in the last 3 years

• Minimum age 22

• No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years

• No more than 1 preventable DOT-recordable accident in the last 3 years

• Must satisfy DOT Clearinghouse standards

• Sufficient English skills to handle safety communication and job tasks

• Other qualifications may be required
