CDL-A Local Tanker Driver — Home Daily, Up to $100,000/Year

Our company needs a CDL-A tanker driver to haul liquid sulfur between refineries and plants in the New Orleans and Baton Rouge area. You'll run local routes and be home every day, driving newer, well-kept equipment for a privately owned carrier.

Pay

• $80,000 to $100,000 per year, paid hourly with weekly overtime

• Weekly paychecks

• $1,000 bonus for referring another driver

• Local routes with consistent home time every day, no life on the road

What you'll haul

• Liquid sulfur picked up from refiners between Baton Rouge and New Orleans and delivered to consuming plants

• Duties include loading and unloading the tank trailer by site procedures, pre- and post-trip inspections, and following all safety and regulatory rules on every shift

Requirements

• Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements

• Valid TWIC card

• Minimum age 23

• At least 1 year of recent, verifiable tractor-trailer experience hauling tanker or hazmat loads

• 3-year driving record with 2 or fewer moving violations and no major accidents

• Must be able to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check

• Able to lift 50 pounds daily and climb on elevated surfaces as needed

• Manual transmission experience required; the fleet is all manual

• Dependable attendance is a core part of the job
