About this job
Our company is hiring full-time CDL-A drivers for a private fleet relay route in Bradenton, FL, running freight to and from the Jupiter, FL warehouse. You'll be home every day with weekends off.
Pay
- $0.56 per mile
- Weekly minimum guarantee of $1,078.00, based on 40 hours at your hourly rate
- Average weekly earnings of $1,100
- Pay and weekly guarantee go up at 6, 12 and 18 months
- Paid weekly
- $5,000 sign-on bonus
- $1,500 referral bonus
Schedule and route
- Monday through Friday, third shift, with start times between 6pm and 9pm
- Relay run between Bradenton, FL and the Jupiter, FL warehouse and back, 5 days a week, about 336+ miles round trip
- Home every day
- You may also need to cover the peddle (store delivery) route when that driver is out for vacation or sick time
What you'll haul
- Store deliveries on a peddle route (paid hourly) and relay/drop-and-hook runs (paid by the mile)
- Light-touch freight
- Day cab equipment
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- At least 21 years old
- Either 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience, or 6 months of driving experience plus a certificate from an accredited CDL school
