CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver — Home Daily, $1,400–$1,800/wk

This is a local CDL-A intermodal driving job based out of Bell Gardens, CA, running container freight around the LA area and up through the Grapevine. You'll be home daily on a five-day schedule with day or night shift options.

Pay

• Weekly pay ranges from $1,400 to $1,800

• Hourly rate of $19.25

• Stop pay of $18.71 per stop

Home time

• Home every day with a 10-hour break between shifts

• Choose between Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday schedules

• Extra workdays available if you want them

What you'll haul

• Intermodal containers on chassis, including drop-and-hook, live load/unload, and preloaded freight

• Routes cover Los Angeles, the Inland Empire, and ramps in Long Beach, LA, Commerce, City of Industry, and Bloomington

• Mandatory northern runs to Shafter and Lebec through the Grapevine

• Dispatch assigns your routes; this is a slip-seat operation with trucks parked at the Bell Gardens yard

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 3 months of verifiable CDL-A experience

• Clean driving record and valid DOT medical card

• No SAP drivers

• Must be comfortable operating intermodal containers on chassis

• Must be flexible with dispatch-assigned routes, including the Shafter/Lebec runs

• Able to work either day or night shift as assigned
