CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver — Home Daily, $1,400–$1,800/wk Avg

Run containers to and from the rail yard in Bell Gardens with a schedule that gets you home every night. Our company is hiring CDL-A drivers for this local intermodal route out of Los Angeles, CA 90060, with steady weekly pay and a choice of shifts.

Pay

• $19.25 per hour, on shifts running 10-12 hours

• $18.71 per stop, handling 6-10 stops a day

• Drivers typically bring home $1,400-$1,800 a week

Home time

• Every day is a home day

• Pick Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday

• Early or late start times offered

What you'll haul

• Containers moving in and out of the rail yard

• A mix of live loading, live unloading, preloaded trailers, and drop-and-hook work

• Loads come with no-touch assistance

• You'll slip-seat rather than run one dedicated truck

• Equipment is newer automatic Freightliner Cascadias

Requirements

• Valid CDL A and a minimum of 6 months' experience with 53' tractor trailers within the last year (dump trucks, garbage trucks, and school training don't count)

• The address on your CDL needs to match this hiring region

• You must live within 15 miles of Bell Gardens, with no exceptions made

• SAP drivers are not eligible for this position

• Be ready for a hair follicle drug test

• Your driving record must be free of accidents or incidents over the past year
