About this job
Drive a day cab tractor for FedEx Ground in the Charlotte regional area, swapping trailers between local customers and FedEx terminals on a consistent daily route. You'll work 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, and be home every day.
Pay
- $62,400 to $71,500 per year, paid bi-weekly or twice monthly
- About $1,200 per week, with the chance to earn more by picking up extra runs on your days off
- Hourly pay structure
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 2nd shift, 3:00pm to 1:00am
- Home daily, one regular location
What you'll haul
- Dry van trailers, drop and hook freight handling
- Same route each day unless your on-duty manager assigns something different
Requirements
- Class A CDL, with doubles endorsement or willingness to obtain one
- At least 1 year of driving experience within the last 3 years
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and DMV check
- Smartphone required, along with the ability to work independently and stay organized
- Must be able to commute to Fort Mill, SC 29708, or relocate there before starting
