CDL-A Local Delivery Driver — $35.95/hr, Home Every Night

Our company is looking for a local delivery driver to bring food and supplies to customer sites in the Vista, CA area. You'll be home every night, working a 1st shift route.

Pay

• Base rate of $35.95/hr, plus overtime pay

• Final pay depends on your experience, skills, and location

Schedule

• 1st shift, with start times between 12am and 5am

• Choice of a 4x10 or 5-day week, with Sundays off

• Local routes, so you're home every night

What you'll haul

• Meat, produce, frozen items, groceries, dry goods, equipment and supplies

• You'll unload with a hand truck and place deliveries in the customer's storage area

• Expect frequent stops, lifting up to 80 pounds repeatedly, and driving in all weather

• You'll confirm deliveries with customers and sometimes collect payment by cash or check

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid CDL Class A from your state of residence, with any required endorsements, and must meet DOT standards

• High school diploma or GED preferred

• No more than two traffic violations in the last two years, no DUI in the last three years, and no license suspensions in the last three years

• At least six months of commercial driving experience in any industry, or three months specifically in food and beverage delivery

• Able to pass a DOT physical
