CDL-A Local Delivery Driver — $33.39–$50.08/hr

Our company needs a CDL-A driver to haul construction materials between the warehouse, job sites, and vendors in the Rayville, LA area. You'll run local routes using flatbed and dry van trailers, keeping deliveries on schedule and handled safely.

Pay

• $33.39 to $50.08 per hour, with the exact rate depending on your skills, experience, and qualifications

What you'll haul

• Construction materials, tools, and equipment, loaded onto 18-wheel tractor-trailers (dry van and flatbed)

• Local runs connecting the warehouse, active job sites, and vendor locations

• Occasional help with rigging, tying down loads, and handling equipment

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 10 years of commercial driving experience on both road and off-road terrain, ideally in construction, logistics, or material supply

• At least 10 years hauling flatbeds and dry vans under varying load conditions, including on live construction sites

• Solid understanding of DOT rules, weight limits, and how to secure cargo properly

• Dependable, safety-minded, and a clear communicator

• Chauffeur license is a plus

You'll also complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, keep accurate logs and trip records, and work closely with warehouse staff, project managers, and field crews to keep deliveries on track and compliant with company safety rules and transportation laws.
