CDL-A Local Dedicated Truck Driver — Home Daily

Drive a dedicated Walmart lane for our company, running no-touch loads from Shafter to spots across Southern California, and get home every day.

What you'll haul

• No-touch freight on a dedicated Walmart account

• Route runs from the Shafter DC out to Southern California locations, with backhaul returning to the DC

• Typically 2-3 stops per run

• Most loads leave the DC between 1500 and 2100

Home time

• Home daily, with 2 consecutive days off most weeks

• Weekend work is part of the schedule, but you'll still get your 2 days off in a row

Pay

• Paid by mileage band, plus stop pay and detention pay

• Bonus available for safe, on-time performance

Equipment

• Newer trucks with automatic transmissions

• Pulls dry van and reefer trailers

• Slip-seat setup (not assigned to one specific truck)

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 21 years old

• Minimum 3 months of current CDL-A driving experience

• Not open to students, recent grads, or trainees
