CDL-A Linehaul OTR Driver — $0.60/mile Plus $30/hr P&D, Graveyard Shift

Our company runs scheduled linehaul freight between the West Coast and Texas, supporting the air cargo industry at airports including SFO, LAX, PDX, and SEA. They need Class A OTR drivers based out of San Francisco or Los Angeles to cover ad hoc routes, mainly between SFO and LAX, and SFO and PDX/SEA, on the graveyard shift.

Pay

• Starting at $0.60 per mile while driving over the road

• $30 per hour during pickup and delivery work

• Typical weekly mileage runs around 2,000 miles

Schedule

• Full-time, graveyard shift

• 1-2 days off each week

What you'll haul

• Freight moving between ACT2 terminals and customer locations, tied to air cargo logistics

Requirements

• At least 2 years of verifiable experience driving a Class A tractor trailer

• Valid DOT medical certificate

• Clean driving record: no more than 2 traffic violations and 1 preventable accident in the past 3 years

• Must pass a pre-employment drug test, background check, and TSA Security Threat Assessment (waived if you hold a HazMat endorsement)

• Legal authorization to work in the US

• Able to lift 50 lbs

• HazMat endorsement preferred but not required to start; ACT2 covers the training and cost, and you'll need to get certified to stay in the role

You'll be expected to follow DOT rules, TSA security procedures, and company safety policies, run pre- and post-trip inspections, keep your truck clean and fueled, handle pickup/delivery paperwork, and keep dispatch updated on delays or mechanical problems.
