CDL-A Linehaul Driver — $0.79/mi Doubles + $5,000 Sign-On

Our company is hiring Class A linehaul drivers out of the Denver area (Commerce City, CO) for a float route. You move trailers between terminals and customer sites on a night shift and are home every day with weekends off.

Pay

• $0.77/mi when pulling singles and $0.79/mile when pulling doubles

• $5,000 sign on bonus

Schedule and home time

• Monday to Friday, starting at 9pm or 11pm

• Float route, home daily, weekends off

• Dedicated routes with consistent miles and hours

What you'll do

• Inspect your vehicle before and after each trip

• Hook up and haul trailers between terminals and customer locations as dispatch or your supervisor directs

• Make sure shipping paperwork is ready for DOT inspection and travels with each load

• Drive a tractor-trailer combination for long stretches over long distances

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL and a minimum age of 21

• 1 year of commercial driving experience

• No DUI or DWI and no more than 3 traffic violations in the past 3 years

• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, or a willingness to get them; the company reimburses renewals

• Pass a pre-employment skills assessment

• Physically able to climb in and out of the cab, carry up to 40 pounds for 20 feet, and handle landing gear, fifth wheel levers, pintle hooks, safety chains and cargo doors
