Our company, based in Commerce, CA, has over 24 years of experience in intermodal rail drayage. They're hiring Class A CDL drivers to run local container shuttles between BNSF and UP rail yards and area warehouses, with day and night shift options and home time every day.
Pay
- $1,050.00 - $1,600.00 per week, paid weekly by direct deposit
Schedule
- Day shift: Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work
- Night shift: 7PM-3:30AM, weekends available
- Local routes that get you home daily
What you'll haul
- Intermodal containers and 53' dry van loads
- No-touch freight
- Pickups and deliveries between rail yards and warehouses, and warehouse-to-warehouse moves
- Container shuttles to and from BNSF and UP rail yards
What the job involves
- Pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting any issues
- Following rail yard rules and speed limits
- Keeping dispatch updated on delays and load status
- Accurate, up-to-date logs and paperwork
- Keeping your truck clean and in good shape
Requirements
- Class A CDL
- At least 2 years of truck driving experience; intermodal experience preferred
- Experience working BNSF and UP rail yards is required
- A clean driving record and a focus on safety
