CDL-A Hazmat Equipment Driver — Portable Power Rentals

NOV is looking for a Class A driver with a Hazmat endorsement to move rental equipment for Portable Power between customer sites and NOV depots. You'll handle the hauling as well as loading and unloading with powered equipment, and travel can include overnight and long-distance runs.

What you'll do

• Drive your assigned Class A truck to pick up, secure and deliver rental equipment to the right location

• Run pre-trip checks, watch road and weather conditions, and flag any problems

• Match loads against the manifest and stay in touch with the transportation coordinator

• Keep the truck clean, on its service schedule, and your paperwork up to date

• Load and unload equipment using an overhead crane and forklift

• Let management know right away about major repair needs or delivery issues

• Take on other tasks your manager assigns

Schedule

Expect weekend shifts, irregular hours, overnight stays and long-distance trips as the work requires.

Requirements

• Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement (legally required)

• Current USDOT medical card and ability to pass drug/alcohol screening

• Comfortable using Microsoft Office for email and paperwork

• Solid communication skills for dealing with customers and coworkers

• Certified to run a forklift and overhead crane

• Able to work independently while following safety rules

• Open to weekend, overnight and long-haul assignments

• Clean driving record and full compliance with NOV's driver policies

• Completion of basic safety training within your first 30 days

• Understanding of ELD rules and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
