About this job
Our company is hiring a Grapple Truck Operator/Driver to work in Paynes Creek, CA, driving and operating a CDL grapple truck for tree and debris removal. This is a hands-on role combining driving, equipment operation, and site cleanup work.
Pay
- $25 - $35 an hour
What you'll do
- Drive the grapple truck to and from work sites and dump sites each day
- Operate a knuckle boom grapple (Palfinger, Serco, Robotec, or similar) to pick up logs and debris
- Handle chainsaws and other tree care equipment safely
- Clean and maintain your assigned truck
- Clear job sites of debris: rake sticks and branches, blow off driveways and lawns
- Make small mechanical repairs like changing hydraulic hoses and greasing
- Fill in as groundperson or equipment operator when needed
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record
- Able to drive a heavy-duty vehicle with a trailer
- Experience operating a grapple truck or similar heavy equipment
- 1+ years of experience in tree care or a similar field
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
