CDL-A Food Delivery Driver — Starting at $350/day, No Sundays

Our company is looking for a CDL-A driver to deliver food and food-related products to local customers on intrastate and OTR routes, including shuttle, overnight, and drive-and-drop runs. You'll handle both driving and unloading duties.

Pay

• Starts at $350/day, paid under a component pay structure.

Schedule

• 4-5 days per week depending on business needs.

• No Sunday shifts.

• Shifts average 10-12 hours.

• Dispatch times fall between 12AM and 5AM, depending on your route.

What you'll haul

• Food and food-related products, delivered to restaurants, hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and other customer locations.

• Routes can include local, over-the-road, shuttle, overnight, and drive-and-drop assignments.

What the job involves

• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your tractor and trailer to meet DOT and company safety standards, reporting any issues found.

• Checking that freight is loaded and secured properly, and verifying item counts against invoices.

• Driving your assigned route and delivering orders on schedule.

• Unloading products by hand or with equipment like two-wheelers and lift gates, and placing them in customer storage areas.

• Getting signatures to confirm delivery, and collecting payment by cash or check when needed.

• Loading customer returns and damaged goods back onto the trailer and completing the related paperwork.

• Logging your hours of service each day to meet DOT and company rules.

• Keeping your tractor, dock area, and trailer clean and organized.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

• At least 6 months of commercial driving experience.

• Valid CDL-A license.

• Minimum age 21.

• Clean driving record for the past 3 years (MVR check).

• Must pass a drug test, criminal background check, and road test after a job offer.

• Current or obtainable DOT Health Card.

• Able to lift products by hand and with equipment; items typically weigh 10-35 pounds, with some up to roughly 60-90 pounds depending on location.
