CDL-A Food Delivery Driver — $1,384/Week Average

Our company is hiring a CDL-A driver in Miami, FL to deliver food and food-service products to convenience retail customers. You'll run local and over-the-road routes, Monday through Friday, with a 5am dispatch time.

Pay

• Drivers can earn $1,384.00 average weekly pay

• Minimum weekly requirements apply and will be discussed during your interview

What you'll haul

• Food and food-related products delivered via tractor-trailer or straight truck

• Routes include local, OTR, shuttle, overnight, and drive-and-drop assignments

Responsibilities

• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections in line with DOT rules

• Check that freight is properly loaded and secured

• Verify item counts against customer invoices and keep accurate paperwork

• Drive your assigned route and deliver orders on schedule

• Unload products at customer storage areas and get delivery signatures

• Collect payment when required and handle customer returns

• Log hours of service accurately each day

• Keep your truck and the loading dock area clean

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

• At least 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience

• Valid CDL-A license

• Clean driving record for the past 3 years

• Must pass a road test

• Current or obtainable DOT health card

• Able to lift and move freight ranging from about 10 to 90 pounds using hand tools like two-wheelers and lift gates

• Food service delivery experience in a Class A vehicle and experience with onboard computers or scanning systems are a plus
