About this job
Our company is looking for experienced CDL-A drivers near Atlanta, Georgia to run Flatbed or Dry Van freight. You'll get steady loads and frequent time at home, with weekly pay in the $1,400–$1,600 range.
Pay
- Weekly earnings of $1,400–$1,600
- Flatbed: $85 per load plus $0.52 per empty mile
- Dry Van: $0.60 per mile, based on experience, with a 2,500-mile weekly minimum
What you'll haul
- Flatbed runs stay within Georgia, with most loads already positioned by linehaul drivers, averaging up to 3 stops a day
- Dry Van work is drop-and-hook at both ends, so there's no sitting around waiting to load or unload
Home time
- You'll be home most days, though trucking schedules can occasionally shift this
Bonuses and extra pay
- Sign-on bonus: $1,000 for drivers with a year of tractor-trailer experience, or $2,000 for those with recent flatbed experience (requires one year at your previous employer)
- Paid training runs 2–7 weeks; experienced drivers (1+ year) can make up to $1,000 a week while training
- Quarterly safety and performance bonus up to $600
- Annual seniority bonus between $500 and $2,500
- New CDL grads (non-Cypress schools) can get tuition reimbursement up to $5,000, paid out at $100 monthly, if Cypress is their first employer

- Minimum of 1 year driving CDL-A trucks
- Must pass a hair follicle drug test covering the last 12 months
