CDL-A Flatbed & Dry Van Driver — $1,400–$1,600/Week, Home Most Days

Our company is looking for experienced CDL-A drivers for the Atlanta, Georgia area, with both Flatbed and Dry Van freight available. You'll get steady freight, weekly pay in the $1,400–$1,600 range, and home time most days.

Pay

• Weekly earnings between $1,400 and $1,600

• Flatbed: $85 per load plus $0.52 per empty mile

• Dry Van: $0.60 per mile, based on your experience level, with a minimum of 2,500 miles per week

What you'll haul

Flatbed drivers run loads across Georgia, with most freight already staged by linehaul drivers, averaging up to 3 stops a day. Dry Van drivers handle drop-and-hook freight at both pickup and delivery, so there's no sitting around waiting to get loaded or unloaded.

Home time

You'll be home most days. Note that trucking schedules can sometimes shift and affect how often you get home.

Bonuses and extra pay

• Sign-on bonus: $1,000 if you have a year of tractor-trailer experience, or $2,000 if your experience is recent flatbed work (you must have stayed at least a year with your last employer to qualify)

• Training pay: 2 to 7 weeks of paid training; if you already have a year or more of experience, you can make up to $1,000 a week while training

• Quarterly bonus up to $600 for safe, solid performance

• Yearly seniority bonus between $500 and $2,500

• Up to $5,000 in tuition reimbursement if Cypress is your first job out of CDL school (not a Cypress school), paid out at $100 a month

Requirements

• At least 21 years old

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 1 year of CDL-A driving experience

• Must pass a hair follicle drug test covering the last 12 months

• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 5 years on your MVR

• No more than 1 speeding ticket in the past 3 years, and none over 15 MPH above the limit in the past 5 years

• No preventable rear-end accidents in the past 5 years

• No careless driving convictions in the past 5 years, and no reckless driving convictions in the past 10 years

• No more than one DUI/DWI ever, and none in the past 10 years

• No misdemeanors in the past 3 years or felonies in the past 7 years
