CDL-A Feed & Grain Truck Driver — Home Regularly

Our company, a family-owned agricultural company in Henry, TN, needs a CDL-A driver to haul feed, grain and ingredients between company sites and customer locations.

Pay

• Full-time drivers average $82,000 a year, with top earners reaching $117,000

• A monthly safety bonus worth 10% of your gross earnings kicks in once you've completed your first 30 days

Home time

• Home on a regular basis

• Consistent, year-round freight

What you'll haul

• Feed, grain, ingredients and other agricultural products moving between farms, feed mills and customer locations

What you'll do

• Run pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections

• Unload product safely at delivery points

• Keep electronic logs and DOT paperwork current using a tablet

• Check load accuracy and stay in contact with dispatch, customers and vendors

• Report any safety issues, accidents or equipment problems promptly

• Keep your truck clean and in good condition

Requirements

• Class A CDL and current DOT medical card

• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience

• Livestock hauling background is a plus but not required

• Clean driving and background record, no DUI/DWI in the last 5 years

• Able to lift up to 80 lbs occasionally and climb on trailers/equipment

• Must pass DOT drug and alcohol screening, including random testing

• Willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
