About this job
Our company needs Extra Board drivers to back up Walgreens Private Fleet Operations running out of Moreno Valley, CA. Based in Woodland, CA, you'll fill in on team runs, layover routes and local store drops, working tailgated loads off a conveyor roller setup.
Pay
- Starts at $30.55/hour or $0.63/mile
- Hourly rate tops out at $32.55, with bumps built in at 6, 18, 12 and 24 months
- Your weekly minimum is guaranteed at 40 times whatever your hourly rate is
- A limited-time referral bonus of $1.5K-2.5K is up for grabs
Home time
You'll be off most weekends.
What you'll haul
This is a fill-in position, so your assignment changes based on what needs covering: team runs, layover routes, or local store deliveries. Freight comes tailgated and unloads via conveyor roller system.
Requirements
- Class A CDL, with 1 year of verifiable driving experience, or 6 months plus a CDL school certificate
- Doubles endorsement
- Ability to push, pull, and carry up to 75 lbs
- Comfortable unloading tailgated freight off a conveyor roller
- Flexible to run whatever's assigned - team, delivery, or relay
- Must clear all DOT requirements
- A TWIC card is a bonus, not required
