About this job
Our company in Effingham, IL has a CDL-A driving position built around a 4 on / 4 off rotation. You spend only 3 nights on the road, then get four full days at home. The freight is no-touch and mostly drop and hook.
Pay
- 55-60 CPM, set by your application, interview and driving experience (listed as up to 0.60 CPM)
- Paid weekly
- $1,000 sign-on bonus available to experienced drivers
- Bonuses for referrals, for performance and for violation-free DOT inspections
Schedule and home time
- Work 4 days, then take 4 days off at home
- Out only 3 nights over the road per rotation
Equipment and freight
- Assigned truck: a 2020 or newer Freightliner Cascadia, Mack Anthem or Kenworth T680
- No-touch freight, with most loads drop and hook
- Rider and pet rider policy
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, or willingness to get them
- Minimum age of 23
- Solid work ethic
