CDL-A Doubles Linehaul Driver — Home Daily, $0.80/mi Doubles

CCFS needs a Class A linehaul driver to run between Sioux Falls, SD, Watertown, SD and Fargo, ND on a set overnight schedule. You'll be home daily with weekends off, pulling doubles for a company that runs freight across the Western and Central US.

Pay

• $0.76 per mile for singles

• $0.80 per mile for doubles

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, starting at 6:30pm

• Route: Sioux Falls, SD to Watertown, SD to Fargo, ND

• Reports to the Linehaul Manager

Home time

• Home every day, with weekends off

What you'll do

• Run pre-trip and post-trip inspections on your rig

• Hook and unhook trailers at customer and terminal stops as dispatch directs

• Keep shipping paperwork in order and ready for DOT checks

• Drive a tractor-trailer combination over long distances for extended stretches

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL

• At least 21 years old

• One year of commercial driving experience

• No DUI or DWI in the last 3 years

• No more than 3 traffic violations in the last 3 years

• Hazmat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required (Hazmat/Tanker can be obtained after hire, with reimbursed renewal costs)

• Must pass a pre-employment skills assessment

• Able to get in and out of the cab frequently, lift freight up to 40 pounds and carry it up to 20 feet, and handle trailer hookup tasks: raising and lowering landing gear, working fifth wheel releases and pintle hooks, attaching safety chains, and checking fluids
