About this job
Our company is hiring CDL-A delivery drivers in Lawton, OK to deliver foodservice products to customers on set routes. You'll typically work 5 days a week between Monday and Saturday, starting between 3 AM and 7 AM.
Pay
- Starting base rate of $31.62 per hour, plus component pay based on cases, mileage and stops
- Top earners make up to $43.99 per hour
- Annual earnings typically range from $65,769.60 to approximately $91,500, depending on hours worked and incentive pay
- Overtime pay available as applicable
What you'll do
- Drive safely to customer locations and hit scheduled delivery windows
- Unload product by hand, two-wheeler or pallet jack and place it where the customer wants it
- Confirm order accuracy with customers and get delivery signatures
- Collect payments from customers where required
- Handle customer interactions professionally to support a good service experience
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Physical demands
- Repeatedly lift, carry, push and pull product weighing 20 to 80+ lbs throughout each shift
- Work outdoors in all weather, with 10 or more stops per shift
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A from your state of residence, with required endorsements and DOT qualifications
- At least 21 years old
- Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse (a DOT requirement for all CDL holders)
- At least 6 months of commercial driving experience in any industry, or 3 months specifically in food or beverage delivery
- Manual transmission skills preferred, and may be required at some locations
- English proficiency sufficient to communicate with others, read road signs, respond to official requests, and complete reports and records
