CDL-A Delivery Driver — Up to $52.64/hr

Our company is hiring a CDL-A delivery driver in Augusta, GA. You will deliver foodservice products to customers across city streets and highways, unloading each stop yourself. The schedule is Monday through Friday.

Pay

• Training pay starts at $20.54 per hour.

• After training you move to component pay, which depends on stops, miles and cases.

• Top performers can earn up to $52.64 per hour.

• Overtime may also apply.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, starting between 3:00am and 6:00am and running until your route is done.

• Based in Augusta, GA.

What you'll do

• Drive safely and get products to customers on time.

• Unload with a two-wheeler, ramp or by hand and place goods in the customer's storage areas. This is 100% touch freight.

• Confirm each delivery and get a signature.

• Inspect your truck before and after each trip.

• Handle collections and payments when they apply.

• Back into tight docks and keep customers happy.

Physical demands

• Repeatedly lift, carry and push 20 to 80+ lbs.

• Make 10 or more stops per shift, including in bad weather.

• Work in temperatures as low as 0 degrees.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A with the needed endorsements and DOT qualifications.

• Age 21 or older.

• At least 6 months of commercial driving, or 3 months in food or beverage delivery.

• Registration with the FMCSA Clearinghouse.

• Ability to read, speak and write English for signs, records and official questions.

• Manual transmission experience is preferred and may be required at some locations.
