CDL-A Delivery Driver Trainee — Starting at $25.55/hr

Our company is looking for a CDL-A Delivery Driver Trainee to join their Twinsburg, OH team, delivering foodservice products to local customers. This is an entry-level route driving role with full touch freight.

Pay

• Starting pay is $25.55 to $28.55 per hour, plus overtime

• New hires may qualify for a $5,000 retention bonus

Schedule

• Works Monday through Saturday on a flexible 4 or 5 day week

• Shifts begin between 3am and 6am

What you'll haul

• Food and beverage products delivered to customer accounts

• All freight is hand-unloaded using a two-wheeler, ramp, or manual carrying

Responsibilities

• Drive safely on highways and city streets, including tight dock backing

• Unload deliveries and place items in designated storage areas

• Confirm deliveries and collect customer signatures

• Deliver strong customer service on every stop

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Manage collections or payments where needed

Requirements

• Must be 21 or older

• Valid Class A CDL with required endorsements and DOT qualifications

• Register with the FMCSA Clearinghouse

• Fewer than six months of general commercial driving experience, or fewer than three months in food/beverage delivery

• Comfortable lifting, pushing, or pulling 20 to 80+ pounds repeatedly per shift

• Able to work in varying temperatures, including as low as 0 degrees, and in all weather

• English literacy needed to read signs, communicate, and complete reports

• Manual transmission skills preferred, and may be required at some locations
