About this job
Our company needs a Class A CDL driver for local and regional delivery routes out of Rancho Cordova, CA, hauling frozen and refrigerated bakery products to restaurants, retail stores, and bakeries. You'll work Monday through Friday with early morning dispatch and handle hands-on touch freight.
Pay
- $28.00 per hour

Schedule and home time
- Monday-Friday schedule
- Dispatch around 4:00-4:30 AM (window 2:00-5:00 AM)
- Shifts run about 10-12 hours
- Mostly home daily, with occasional overnight routes; hotel costs are covered in advance when overnights are needed
What you'll haul
- Frozen and refrigerated dough, baked goods, and baking mixes
- Day cab, automatic transmission
- Dry van and refrigerated trailers
- About 5-10 stops per route, up to 400 miles, roughly 300 pieces delivered daily
What you'll do
- Load, unload, and move palletized and boxed freight using an electric pallet jack, hand truck, and liftgate
- Deliver to restaurants, retail stores, and independent bakeries with professional customer service
- Keep accurate delivery paperwork and follow receiving procedures
- Follow DOT and food-handling regulations
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Clean driving record
- Comfortable with physical touch-freight work
- Pallet jack/hand truck experience preferred
- Able to work early morning dispatch and travel up to 400 miles with occasional overnight stays
- Must complete interview and training process
