About this job
Our company is hiring a CDL-A delivery driver in Miami, FL. You'll work Monday through Friday from 6:00a to 3:00p and be home every day.
Pay
- $28.00 per hour
- $1,000 sign-on bonus, paid as $500 after 90 days and $500 after 6 months of continuous employment (does not apply to re-hired employees)
- Up to $6,000 in yearly incentive pay: $1,000 each quarter plus a $2,000 annual bonus, based on performance
Schedule and home time
- Monday through Friday, 6:00a to 3:00p
- Home every day
What you'll do
- Haul deliveries safely and follow company procedures and DOT rules
- Plan your route around customer schedules, busy delivery windows and traffic
- Load and unload freight, lifting up to 65 lbs as needed
- Collect and turn in delivery paperwork and COD payments on time
- Keep orders accurate and communicate any customer updates to management
- Represent the company professionally with customers
- Keep your CDL, endorsements and DOT physical card current
Requirements
- Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements
- Valid DOT medical card
- At least one year of driving experience
- Able to drive a manual transmission, if the truck requires it
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong customer service skills
